- rjzzleep 5y agoChibiOS HAL was pretty stale for a while but has recently picked up steam again. Nuvoton devices were recently added(I worked on getting a ducky keyboard merged into QMK). The good thing about the ChibiOS HAL is that it is fairly simple. The problem with it is that you need to write drivers from scratch and when something doesn't quite fit its concept it becomes really annoying to add.
