I am a happy user of Sailfish since 2014, but diversity is a good thing, just happy there is an ecosystem for Linux phones.
- zibzab 5y agoI have a N7'13 gathering dust in a drawer, still working perfectly. Would love to try either Ubuntu touch or sailfish for development. But would either ever lead to anything? It feels they are moving extremely slowly, almost like the GNU Hurd of the mobile world.
- bklaasen 5y agoIf you've degoogled your life and don't depend on many apps, it can be a good option. I couldn't stick with Ubuntu Touch though because it has no integration with Nextcloud. I switched to /e/, which works seamlessly with their Nextcloud back end, or in my case, my own self-hosted instance.
