I'm hooked into multiple recruiters to find local office work, and they keep telling me the roles are just not coming in. I'm on the automated weekly jobs list from multiple companies. I also check linkedin and other boards, local jobs seem to be very low for my area. Rare interviews, but I'm competing with a ton of unemployed people after mass layoffs from 2020 still looking. I talk to recruiters from texas to the florida, and If I want to move, there is work. I'm in a major metro on the west coast, so I'm guessing for me, people are not back in the office here yet. Also, I think recruiters are taking advantage of it, I did find 2 jobs for 1/4th the pay.
