I don't know how Michelin shortlisted the eateries here when the guide first launched here in Singapore, but the selection was oddly similar to TripAdvisor's top food places — and missed out quite a few gems. Not that I blame them — I wouldn't want some of my favourite street food haunts to be overwhelmed by long tourist queues.
