The Insides of a Bluetooth-Enabled Covid-19 Self-Test
- _Microft 5y agoUsing disposable electronics for reading out a test strip seems very wasteful [0]. On the other hand, one really would not want to reuse the device after someone possibly tested positive with it. Maybe it could have replaceable test-strips but the device makes itself inoperable by burning a fuse in case it ever reports postive? Maybe the actual solution is to just not have an electronic device for such a use-case.
