  Could you go beyond a one word dismissal? Who is being puerile? The author, the reader, the women selling themselves, or the men buying them? Is it better or worse than straight forward prostitution? (I vouched for the article to bring it back from the dead, because I thought it was a well-written article about a contentious modern phenomenon. I don't much like it as a direction for society, but I think it's worth discussing rather than ignoring.)
