Wow - I hadn't even considered the Electron "app" angle! That is such a disaster re: memory on my Mac that I certainly don't want every app on the iPhone to become Electron. Apple has gotten away with comparatively lower memory on the iPhone than Android - and it makes sense this'd be a key reason why...
- mtomweb 5y agoAlthough PWAs are not electron and can be built incredibly lightweight. Electron itself shouldn't be necessary if developers have the APIs they need.
