Focus Mode / Do Not Disturb infuriates me. All I want is for my notifications to not light up the screen and make any sounds except for calls. Is that so hard?

Focus Mode / Do Not Disturb infuriates me. All I want is for my notifications to not light up the screen and make any sounds except for calls. Is that so hard? It keeps getting more complex.

- CharlesW 5y ago> Is that so hard? YMMV, I guess—I found the customizable flavors of Do Not Disturb immediately useful. And if you don't, the old Do Not Disturb is still an option.
- illiac786 5y agoAnd Actionable Notifications are gone?? On gmail for example, I could swipe to the left, tap "display" (I think that's what it was called) and it would show me actions like "archive", "delete", etc. Now I have to open the app. Why??
