- misiti3780 5y agoNo - COVID killed 4-5M, The Spanish Flu killed 50-80MM last time I checked.
- paulpauper 5y agothese is why 'real news' is as fake as fake news
- AnimalMuppet 5y agoNot in the US, it didn't.
- misiti3780 5y agoglobally.
- josephcsible 5y agoMisleading title: they killed the same absolute number of Americans, but our population now is over 3 times what it was then, so COVID is less than 1/3 as deadly.
- alanmessey 5y agoFor those complaining about the comparison, they did at least mention it: >>> Comparing events that happened more than a century apart has its perils. For instance, the population of the United States in 1918 was a third of what it is now. So as a percentage of the national population, the Spanish flu deaths still has the lead on Covid-19.
