- streetcat1 5y agoThere is deep flaw in the arguments or at least at the examples. Both examples given (uber and airbnb) are a legal plays/ VC play and have nothing to do with spare time. Uber is betting on employment law, and airbnb is betting on property law. Also, this view might have been correct 4 years ago, I assume that 90% or more of Airbnb are super hosts (with at least 4 properties, I.e. an hotel) and most of uber drivers are full time drivers (I.e. a taxi driver). Since I do not see any legal play or VC play at NFT, the only conclusion is that this is some sort of a scam? Not sure. I do know that NFT by itself, does not generate cashflows (like any other art piece, offline or online). So its value is subjective.
