I live in Logan, another test area in Australia. The drones are relatively quite. Surprisingly so. Generally can’t hear them inside the house. Sometimes I will notice them when they are a few houses away if I’m outside. I rarely take notice of them now and I don’t find them distracting. They seem to fly quite high too.
- mfer 5y agoI can’t see all the lights on outside from inside my house at night. That doesn’t mean there isn’t a lot of light pollution. Houses dampen the sound which animals don’t have the luxury of having. All that noise could be a real problem for them
- FartyMcFarter 5y ago> Generally can’t hear them inside the house. So you can sometimes hear them inside the house? That sounds possibly-OK in a sparsely populated area. But in more dense areas with lots of deliveries and people walking outside who can hear all the noise, I'm not sure this will scale well.
