Some jobs don't allow for time to really address tech debt. Lots of us get in the habit of sneaking improvements in as we go because otherwise they never get done.
- Mc91 5y agoYes. If I am doing refactoring work during a sprint, I don't sneak features the business is pushing for into the pull request. I am both held responsible for code being kept maintainable and almost never given any time to keep code maintainable, so I refactor as I go.
