You are distorting the numbers for political ends. The majority of those deaths were among urban immigrants or elders in care homes, both of which are unusually large subsets of the population in Sweden. Sloppy math does not save lives.
- techsin101 5y agoAre you claiming that population composition and urbanization between Sweden and neighboring countries is significantly different?
- apurtbapurt 5y agoExtremely different. Sweden has 20% foreign born inhabitants.

- AnthonBerg 5y agoI see. What are the statistics for the other countries in the comparison? (They’re not that different.) How does it happen that thousands of foreign-born immigrants die? Why does it happen in Sweden only? Why is that an explanation or an excuse, as it seems to be put forth? The people that died were simply killed by the Swedish authorities’ appalling mismanagement of the pandemic.
- techsin101 5y agoForeign born, as in Immigrants. Immigrants tend to be working age people, i.e. on young side. This fact only works against your argument.
