There’re are basically two major design defects that we had to deal with —- the fact that the duty cycle of the ports is so low that an office worker who plugs in their dongles constantly will wear them out in a matter of months and they have to be replaced by Apple for $$$ and the fact that the tolerances for screen housing are so tight that any little movement will crack it which isn’t ideal because metal warps with temperature changes. These two problems is what caused us to at any given moment have a stack of about 50 laptops rotating in and out of the Apple repair shop. The good news is it forced us to get our our provisioning scripts up to snuff since we were swapping laptops so much.
