South Africa has implemented shutdown after shutdown destroying livelyhoods.
The government have a state of emergency that gives them power above the law and a lot of public money has already been stolen.
With all the draconian measures the infection and death rate continues upward.
- pvaldes 5y agoSouth African data were strange for most of the 2020. They either lied about it or weren't able to provide good data. Probably they tried to fix (or mask) the situation later, when it was too late
