TIL there are “principles” in leather tanning?
- zhdc1 5y agoLeather tanning is, apparently, a fairly complex subject (I have a pair of full-grain boots going on a decade plus of consistent wearing, and others that haven't lasted anywhere as close as long).
- bserge 5y agoYou are basically chemically altering the structure of a material. It's like treating steel - much harder than you'd think and yes, there are principles.
