I thought ISSN was yesterday's thing and all the cool kids used DOI these days ?
- edent 5y agoIf you know of a way to automate minting a DOI on WordPress - please let me know. I'd be keen to experiment.
- CaliforniaKarl 5y agoPossibly https://wordpress.org/plugins/doi-creator/ https://wordpress.org/plugins/doi-creator/, but you’ll need to give the code a review before using it, just to be safe.
- nanna 5y agoISSNs identify the publisher (edit: the publication). DOIs identify items of content.

- afandian 5y agoDOIs are assigned to journals too. It's not entirely consistent though, and journal DOIs can overlap with ISSNs.
