Best Songs of All Time – Rolling Stone
- flitzofolov 5y agoCool - someone made a Spotify playlist of all the songs in order: https://open.spotify.com/playlist/2xdnCSTRwdAa8iyFuQGdxg?si=9f3721d970d94718 https://open.spotify.com/playlist/2xdnCSTRwdAa8iyFuQGdxg?si=...

- kaminar 5y agoWhat a farce, lol.
- wrycoder 5y agoThe comments are more interesting than the list: Far too many songs from the last ten years or so clogging the list. No song from 2019 or 2020 has been around long enough to be an all time great. As a disgruntled Gen-Xer, this is yet another RS list that proves the Millennials have taken over the magazine (not necessarily a bad thing) and they have terrible taste in music (definitely a bad thing)
- jeppesen-io 5y agoIt's a very valid point about weighting the list to older songs but infuriating to hear the same old line "the next generation has terrible taste in music." It was not true for any past generations and not true now
- wrycoder 5y agoWe old farts always say that. Sometimes it's true.
