Ubiquiti releases beta Unifi firmware that no longer requires Cloud/SSO access
It's a beta firmware, so you need to log in to download it, but Unifi just releases a beta OS upgrade for the UDM and UDMP/SE that no longer requires SSO / Cloud access for the machines.
Chalk this up as a win for Ubiquiti customers.

- oseityphelysiol 5y agoIt's a beta firmware - you need to have a community account with "Early Access" feature turned on in order to see the release thread or be able to purchase early access hardware.
- ackatz 5y agoThis is a step in the right direction but it's ridiculous that these devices (UDM, UDM Pro) STILL cannot log allows and denies of traffic in the firewall.
- beermonster 5y agoMaybe see this[1] instead: “ Improvements Allow to set up console without SSO account. (Mobile app support coming in upcoming versions)” [1] https://unifi-forum.nl/onderwerpen/unifi-os-dream-machines-1-11-0-15.2408/ https://unifi-forum.nl/onderwerpen/unifi-os-dream-machines-1...
