Good? Python 3 stewardship has been absolutely abysmal for a long time. Maybe we'll even get major additions that aren't completely overshadowed by third party reimplementations.
- glacier120 5y agoWho would write such major additions? Prolific contributors have been treated badly in the past, the old boys will remain in power. Hypothetically, if someone like Anders Hejlsberg were to be roped in for writing a fast JIT, I'd think twice if I were him. Credit will go to the PSF and the known figures. (Not to mention that he had better brush up on Critical Race Theory.)
