If I did it with a Rails template such as JumpStart I’d also have a tonne of extra features such as user authentication, payments, styling etc. out of the bag
- goingindi 5y agoCould you tell us more about jumpstart? Is it well supported, who provides it, are there similar templates that don’t work as well and why?
- jack_riminton 5y agohttps://jumpstartrails.com/ https://jumpstartrails.com/ There are a few other Rails template frameworks but I think this is the most popular. It basically has a lot of the boilerplate stuff that you need to do for setting up a SaaS product. Of course because it’s rails a lot of the stuff is supplied in gems
- hdjjhhvvhga 5y agoOver $700/year if you want to develop more than one website seems a bit too much to me.
- jack_riminton 5y agoWorks out pretty well if you think of it in dev time spent imo
