Back in 2009 while on tour in Pakistan, the bus holding the touring Sri Lankan cricket team was ambushed by a gunman and sprayed with bullets in a targeted attack.
Fortunately, while some of the players where injured in the attack, no one was killed.
Given the instability in the region at this time, I'd say it would take a brave cricketing team to tour Pakistan at this moment in time.
