- awild 5y agoI'm guessing the parent is referring to the ability to transparently change runtime parameters and benefit from technical improvements without having to switch languages or even needing recompilation. That's not something golang can do given its statically linked afaik

- kaba0 5y agoOnly by not allocating garbage in the first place by using “value types”. No way its GC would even get close to the JVM’s (and certain problems do require garbage collection, where the JVM will have better throughput)
