Some things that company did since I joined: - work from anywhere (after covid) - it gives day offs to whole company to help with burnout - it added perks for mental health - it has 6 months maternity leave (this was only for moms, now both parents get 6 months) - I didn’t have any issues when I wanted to get PTO - it provided financial package to help with work from home setup Having said these, I understand experience depends a lot to your direct manager. I completely disagree what author says about founders. I think integrity and doing good is their core.
