I wouldn’t be surprised if there was a secret thing, but IDK, some things just work like they say. I can’t see it coming up in a background check, since I get the results and a chance to defend myself, but who knows? If / when I got “filtered”, it would probably be later in the process. At some point, we did talk about past employers and why you left… really seem to remember nothing until an offer was extended. I was actually quite surprised by how responsible they were (at a surface level at least).
