I’m waking up to dozens of after-hours emails from my boss. Help!
- aurizon 5y agoWork from home brings a merging of the working hours and pleasure hours. We all get this - manage your time to suit your own schedule, go for a bike ride in the daytime, work as you like, and complete the work as you like. I am able to manage this. Work out a process, with boss, where these emails and work tasks are triaged. Important stuff = asap, less so as you assess it as the day goes. Do not feel you have an infinite inbox you must empty before free. Bosses are also on a learning curve - a dialog between you is the best way. It may be that you end up doing less work this way, plus zero commute, zero business dress, zero haircuts - work naked - and grin...
