Is there any convention where saying "the Far-Side" is necessary as opposed to "the Far Side"? Either in a style guide or industry jargon? I've noticed a tendency for this kind of unnecessary and excessive hyphenation to happen in some circumstances and I wonder about it. It seems similar to things like "make sure your dependencies are up-to-date", which there is no reason to prefer over the already correct English "up to date". If it was being used as an adjective, I would understand more, e.g. "ensure up-to-date dependencies".
