Yeah I'm going to play it by ear. If the inflation continues and prices permanently rise, $21k may be a good deal. We also might get close to the release of the Tesla Model 2 by then, along with a bunch of Chinese EV imports, so I'll definitely shop around.
I'm personally looking for a 'low end' EV as I will absolutely at no time ever need more than 100 miles of range, and probably much less most of the time. My commute is looking like 45 miles/week once we return to the office, so there's not much point in paying for more than that.
