The iPhone 12 mini had terrible screen flicker for me. I think the PWM of the backlight was too low a frequency. I've never had issues with backlight flicker in a phone before. I'm happy to see the 120hz refresh rate as I've always been able to see 60hz during scrolling and found it made moving text very blurry. Will be very curious to try the 13 Pro to see if the screen is really that much improved.
