Apple unveils iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max – more pro than ever before
- eulgro 5y agoYou can leave out the second part of the title, it doesn't provide anything useful.
- ksml 5y agoIt's taken directly from the source press release title, following HN guidelines
- newaccount2021 5y agoWorst Apple event in years. Even for incremental updates, these are weak.
- kwanbix 5y agoI cannot believe that 4 years latter they still have the notch.

- pshirshov 5y agoSuch a good device, Big Bro included, right? It's so sad that I sold my XS Max and migrated to degoogled android after the assault on privacy ;)
- nbzso 5y agoI am happy about this. It was a wake up call for many.:)
- sebazzz 5y agoIt is crazy to me that my iPhone 8 "Normal" is with a 4.7" display is smaller than the iPhone 13 Mini with a 5.4" display. I don't understand these devices to get larger every year (unless it is to smuggle away the need for a larger battery). I must be getting old even though I'm just 30 year old....
- ihuman 5y agoThe normal 8's display is smaller, but the 13 mini is still smaller overall (5.45 x 2.65 x 0.29 vs 5.18 x 2.53 x 0.30)
- vfsoraki 5y agoWhile this is true, I myself love 4' displays more than anything. The best I could find a couple of years ago was SE (first generation). Now I can't find anything. Something is wrong with either me or this display things.
- moltar 5y agoSame here. The original SE was perfect. I always call it the Nokia 3310 of iPhones. Timeless perfection and a pinnacle of form factor. - flat sides, which means you can put the phone on the sides to watch videos, take steady photos, videos - on off button at the top, volume on the side. Which means no accidental offing when taking photos with the volume button - perfect screen size that allows an average adult hand to reach any area of the screen with a thumb
- vfsoraki 5y agoOh man, I always mention your third point to people around me, and they're like ":| just use your both hands"!
- whckt 5y agoI wonder if sales will be as successful as usual for this new device. I feel that we’re starting to really hit peak phone, where the only things to improve over time are minor components the average consumer doesn’t really care too much about. I wonder if we’ll ever see a MacBook-like refresh cycle for iPhone’s. Still the year-on-yeah without the number, but a 3-5 year full refresh cycle.
