I have seen people use 8 oz in marketing
I have not seen anyone advertise a "1/2 Pounder"
- moron4hire 5y agoA double quarter pounder is two quarter pound patties, not one half-pound patty. And no, the sandwiches would not be equivalent. Two quarter pound patties cook faster, even serially, than one half pounder. Plus, you typically pair each patty with a slice of cheese when making cheeseburgers, so the bread/meat/cheese ratio is completely different.
- frosted-flakes 5y agoThe McDonalds's Double Quarter-Pounder is two 1/4 lb patties though, and it matches the naming scheme of all of their other two-patty burgers.
