It's a bit weird. He's not hard up for money and I don't think he cares that much about it. He has enough for any normal person, so he's probably letting "interesting" project ride his coattails... that said, I think he's in danger of diluting his credentials if he endorses too many things that don't pan out.

    He doesn’t personally, but his influence suffers. It’s like when companies sell their brand to hawk other products which cheapen the main products.

      I somehow doubt that Apple users are going to stop using Apple because Woz entertained a fun project that didn't pan out.
