It always surprises me just how little domestic terrorism we actually have. At the current rate the whole century after 9/11 will only equal around half of the deaths of 9/11.
- kiliantics 5y agoDepends on the narrative or how it's classified legally. Cops kill hundreds per year, often needlessly and sometimes with malicious and/or ideologically driven intent. None of these are considered acts of terrorism while there are experts who say some incidents should be. Conversely, there are people who have been charged with domestic terrorism for comparatively harmless acts of sabotage against construction of pipelines or felling of trees.
