I don't see why not. If we want a strong country, we need more people living here. If people want to move here and start a life, we should enable that by any means necessary. I understand that the current system doesn't work this way, but I also think that the current system is broken and unsustainable.

Most people would rather have stability of culture and the population not changing much compared to having "a strong country", especially with France where the standard of living is already high.
