Since the advent of the internet, people are self-publishing at a rate never before experienced in the history of humanity. Everything we do today has always existed, except it was never as easy to record and disseminate, nor as cheaply to publish and store for posterity let alone broadcast it to the entire world. Before the internet, you had to hire an autobiographer, an editor and a publisher to broadcast your minute thoughts; nowadays any bum can tell what he or she is doing, thinking, planning, rehearsing or not twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week.
