Show HN: A free in-browser game across infinite universes procedurally generated
- consumer451 5y agoWow, super cool and mobile friendly. May I ask what tools you used to make this?
- jesuisundev 5y agoI used the Three.js JavaScript library. And a lot of shaders using the GLSL language. Here's my blog post about it : https://www.jesuisundev.com/en/i-built-the-entire-universe-in-javascript/ https://www.jesuisundev.com/en/i-built-the-entire-universe-i...
- elmerfud 5y agoI wanted to try the game, but it has confused itself with a movie. After 10 seconds of music and text with no game play I closed it. Stories can make a game immersive, but forcing me in to watching the story is like movies with exposition. It's bad design.
- jesuisundev 5y agoThat's a good point! I'll take that in consideration in the next update.
- byoung2 5y agoBeautiful graphics and a poetic ending!
- tedyoung 5y agoI wanted to try this, too, but after 4 minutes and no end in site, I closed the tab. How long is the opener, or is that it?
- timvdalen 5y agoIt looks really cool but I don't think I get the game. How do you find a black hole? Do you just go into a random direction until you stumble upon it?
