With all the deaths caused by anti-vaxxers, one could argue that social media also causes brain damage and kills people.
- rl3 5y agoLikewise with disinformation’s role in electing officials that don’t take climate change seriously, or who roll back EPA protections. If anything social media has a capacity for indirect harm that is in some cases greater than the original harm in question.
