There’s a lot of conflicting data about the vaccine effectiveness against reducing symptoms of breakthrough infections. It’s interesting though, that the author’s symptoms sound about average for someone of their age group if unvaccinated, which is around the same or slightly worse than what all of the people under 50 I know who got Covid reported, whether vaccinated or not.
