  Firefox has been overrun by SJW who fired their engineering team. Thunderbird was abandoned by the same group of people.

    Your description of either projects says a lot more about you than about any of the events you are attempting to describe. Regardless, both Firefox and Thunderbird are and remain open source.

    Firefox, so famously lacking an engineering team it just recently shipped a major (controversial) UI overhaul.
