While that is certainly one of the narratives the deep state loves to be touted, it's simply not true. One of Bushes first actions as POTUS was to request a plan to attack the Taliban. The plan was written in June and was on his desk on Sep 4. We went after who the oligarchs who control our country wanted us to go after. The idea that it was a response to the attack was merely for keeping the public sedated and military/mercs fired up. Solving 9/11 solves the war on terror.
