- rektide 5y ago"you're with us or you're with the terrorists" felt too radical & too exclusionistic to me. it did not make me feel at unity with my nation.
- bigodbiel 5y agoIt was a jingoistic call, and it worked. The media was equally complicit in playing the war drums. And as such a good crisis wasn’t left to waste: mass surveillance, drone program, senseless wars... what is sad is that nothing was learned.
