Probably because cows are mammals and are very similar to humans. For example they have families and feelings and think and play. How would you feel if a more advanced species decided to treat humans how many humans treat cows?
- inportb 5y agoThe same way a captive vegetable feels, I imagine. Intermittently amputated. Never fully allowed to heal. You grow as much you could, only to be cut down again at the next harvest.
- bagacrap 5y agoIt's entirely possible this is happening, just in a way that we're not aware of, a la The Matrix. So I guess I feel ambivalent about it. Ignorance is bliss.
