This guy built a 10 micron fab in his garage and has fabbed 1200 xtor die. That's bonkers. It is odd the article claims he's not using dangerous chemicals, but yet he's using nitric acid to etch. Wonder how he got all these parts and chemicals in highschool?
- actually_a_dog 5y agoThe article quotes him as saying “I also had to deal with a number of hazardous chemicals, like hydrofluoric acid, phosphoric acid, sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid and a number of others.” You must be misreading something.
