Not knowing shell is hardly the reason I think it’s clunky, and probably not TFA’s reason. Just to list a few of my own grievances: * If you use tmux splitting, then mouse selection doesn’t always work right. * Data with embedded spaces is clunky. Data with embedded line breaks is almost unusable. It can be done, but it’s not the default. * A lot of work is done with little languages, like AWK, embedded in shell, requiring double-escaping.
