If memory serves, isn't L-arganine a treatment for herpes as well?

  No. People have tried lysine, but it is ineffective. If anything, argenine would worsen herpes. But, on the subject, do be sure to get your shingles vaccination!

      I used to eat 10g/d. Never made a lick of difference.
