Seems like the solution for the Cobol problem (https://www.wealthsimple.com/en-ca/magazine/cobol-controls-your-money https://www.wealthsimple.com/en-ca/magazine/cobol-controls-y...) could involve something like CobolScript. Surprised there's not a big cross company transpiler initiative in the works.
