Cafeterias and gyms within the office save employees time which then goes to working. Big win for the corporations. Going to college offsite, off hours doesn’t immediately benefit the corporation. The investment only benefits the company if the employee “moves up the ranks”. My understanding from the article is that the benefit is for front line employees. My guess is most do not care for college and would rather take in even 50% of the college tuition
