I'm on my phone so I couldn't read the site. Are you saying more of the hospitalized and dead are vaccinated, I.e. is the second number in the 13/87 and 30/70 the proportion that is vaccinated. I understand it's more complicated by the fact that older or sicker people are more likely to be vaccinated.
Edit: just thinking about it, I suppose most under 12s are not vaccinated and also mostly are ok if they get covid. Whereas e.g. over 70s are probably mostly vaccinated but still could have a bad time with it. So it really seems it's hard to get a clear interpretation. At minimum it would have to be broken down by age and vaccination to start to get a picture of what's happening
- angelzen 5y agoAll ratios are formatted as vax/unvax. More unvax people are in the hospital and dying, in spite of more people being vaxed in the population. It's bad. Get vaxed.
- version_five 5y agoAh sorry, I misread the first statistic as cases by status, not vaccinated/ unvaccinated percentages and that's why I thought it inconsistent with the others.
- angelzen 5y agoGrrr, I misread a bit. It's 73/27 vax/unvax in the population at large vs. cases 32/68 vax/unvax. Not a big difference, still we should be precise.
