This reminds me of the outcry when the Australian Bathurst 1000 car race, introduced beer limits to their campgrounds.
I was angry initially, then found out it was limited to 24 cans of full strength beer per person per day - apparently this is not enough for the event patrons.
- unraveller 5y agoFrom 24 down to 6 a day, and soon... 0. If this observation doesn't convert you over to our teaching about the one true slippery slope, I guess nothing will. The nanny state doesn't have a point at which it is satisfied, it's drunk on power -- as are the people who repeat the decreasingly "reasonable" dictates verbatim.
- brnt 5y agoPeople who drink 24 beers + a day need a nanny, I'd say.

- heavenlyblue 5y ago24 cans right? It’s about 250ml each?
