I would be interested in reading more about this.

- ranguna 5y agoFor a second I was thinking YouTube was doing this. Just move out off tiktok. YouTube's algorithm will probably treat you the same way every now and again for the general public, but maybe that's because the general public doesn't want to watch that type of content? Your close subscribers and people with interest will still get your videos. And if you're self conscious about your physical appearance, your can always become a VTuber or something like that.
- SergeAx 5y agoYouTube will do it's own set of nasty things to creators, as we can see on an almost weekly basis on the first page here. Also we'll never know what kind of stuff it will do in years to come. So "move from platform X to platform Y" may be a decent tactical advice, but in a long run it is better to suppose that they are all the same.
- ranguna 5y agoTrue, we just need to keep in mind that there's not "best platform", just a "lest worst platform"
- bradknowles 5y agoIn this context, the terms “best” or “worst” have to be measured on a number of different axes. What is best on one axis might fare poorly on a different axis. So, there is unlikely to be one single best platform for anything, although there may be many horrible platforms in many different ways.
